I am looking for any other Hamilton researchers that found there Hamiltons went from Alabama to Texas. Thanks!

My greatgrandfather, James W. Hamilton b. 1827 Tyrone Co. Ireland, fought in Civil War, went to AL & m. Sarah A.Bain in 1868; in 1877 he moved to Lamar Co. TX for 3 years; then, to M'boro AR. There must have been some attraction in TX - I figured it was relatives ___?????
