Perhaps we can help each other. I do not know too much about my father's side/Hamilton. His father's name was Charles Levy Hamilton from Bullitt County, Kentucky. My father had a cousin named Richard, do not know where he was born or raised. I do have a document with a Richard Hamilton, no middle initial, who was a soldier in the Civil War. I have no other information about this particular Richard but my search continues
