Both THomas and Benjamin enlisted in Bedford CO, Va for service in the revolutionary War. Ben on May 10, 1780, and Thomas on June 23, 1783. Ben served under several officers between 1780 and 1783.Thomas was drafted and served as a spy and ranger against the indians.
