My Gr-Gr Grandma, Winifred Criss Hamilton was married to William Hamilton who was a son of John Hamilton and Elizabeth Arnold. William Hamilton died 23 Oct 1911 in Wellsville, Columbiana, Ohio. His obituary mentions the following brothers: Thomas and Joseph of Knoxville, Claire and George of Tornonto, and John Hamilton of Dennison. His death certificate lists John Hamilton and Elizabeth Arnold as his parents. I am trying to figure out why I can't find this family listed together in any Census. If Elizabeth died and her children were placed with other family members, that would explain it. I would love to know as much as I can about this family.
