Hamilton, age 73, a resident of Pleasant Ridge Manor West, and formerly of 4310 Lancaster Road, passed away Tuesday September 30, 2008. He was born in Erie on August 19, 1935, the son of the late Lemuel H. And Alice Riblet Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton graduated from McDowell High School, in the Class of 1955, and from Erie Business College, where he studied accounting, in 1957. He was employed at Turnbul Elevator. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, where he also sang in the choir and bowled on the church league--he once bowled a 300 game. He was also a member of Stairways. Preceded in death by a niece, Sheila Billens, and a great nephew, Tyler Borsukolf. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. William (Marjorie) Billens, Port Clinton,Ohio, a brother, Larry Hamilton, and his wife Cynthia, of Erie; eight nieces; and many great nieces and nephews, and cousins. Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th at Powell Ave., on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of service! at 3 p.m. with the Rev.
