    2. Kitty: I am interested in your line too. I have a George Washington Hamilton supposed born in SC on one census and another says Ma. I think somebody got confused when the census was taken and gave the granddaddy's bp, whose name was probably William. He could have also been an uncle. I just know William age 60-70 and George age about 30 lived nearby in the 1840 census. The thing that caught my eye was I have a William Pleasant Hamilton, son of George Washington. The names sort of jumped out at me. So if you know anything about your George perhaps, I can either eliminate him or gain some information.
