That is my line. The only firm documentation on James Hamilton's children (to my knowledge) is Elizabeth Hamilton Dougherty (married Botetourt County in April 1796) and his son Wyatt with whom he was living in McMinn Co Ten in 1844. I have a copy of his Rev. War veteran statement that was made in 1833 in Lee Co Va. I am very interested in sharing information on this line.
