My grandmother Evelyn L Hamilton was born on Dec 19, 1916 in Boyd Co, Ky. Her parents were Everett Hamilton and Mae Duncan. It is believed that Mae was a full-blooded Cherokee Indian. That is all we know. If anyone has any information I would greatly appreciate it.

I thought I would look up the 1920 census for you in case you do not have that information. This is what it states showing all of the family as white. Everett is working in a coal mine. Mae was born in Virginia as was her folks. All kids born in Kentucky.
