Some of our family moved to Oklahoma from Arkansas also. We know this because my aunt remembers some of the family going to go visit relatives there. Just not sure who. This William S. Hamilton and the one you talked about earlier are the only ones I have found so far in the census. Have you checked the Arkansas cemetery lists for Hamiltons who died around the time you think Vessie's father died?
