    3. Hi, I am new to this list and am wondering why there are no Canadian Hamilton's sending in or asking for help. My ggg-grandparents were Alexander Hamilton & Jane Brown from Ballybay/Tullycorbet, Co.Monaghan. They and their 10 kids (all born in Monaghan) settled in Meadowvale, Toronto Twp., Peel Co., Ontario, Canada, in 1830. Some of the kids moved on to Haldimand Co., another to Brant Co.     3. Hello Canadian and American Hamiltons. I would like to know if any of the Hamilton researchers have done any work on the Hamiltons from the Greater Hamilton Area of Scotland. My maternal ancestors were Henry Hamilton, husband of Mary (Norris) Hamilton, both of Motherwell-Hamilton area of Scotland. Their only child, Louise Jean Hamilton (b. 1889, married John Crossett and they emigrated to Mimico (Toronto) in 1912.
