Paul: The family lived in Eufaula, Ala., Barbour County, and the inf 1st BN co E, from Barbour County has a J. M. Hamilton serving. I live in Jacksonville, Fla., and in checking with local Civil War group here we could not find any further record of J.M. Hamilton other than he served. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Lee
