Is anyone in the Hamilton DNA study who was related to James M. Hamilton b 1817 in TN, believed to be the son of Robert Hamilton who signed the Texas Declaration of Independence, married Catherine Griffith b 1821 in NC, dtr of Evan and Elizabeth Griffith. The had 3 children all born in northeast Texas: Elizabeth b 1844, Marcus b 1848 and James b 1851. Elizabeth was my gggrmother. I would like to connect with any decendants of Marcus and/or James. I would appreciate any information on verification of James M's parentage. I do have census records of Marcus and James living with grandfather Robert after James's death abt 1859.
Not in the DNA study done by hamilton genealogical society. Also check the LDS database and then click on pedigree or family after you have found the correct record. -----Original Message----- From: jford511 <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, 31 Jan 2006 20:36:16 -0600 Subject: [HAM] James M.
