His parents may have been a John/James and Mary? John moved to Erin, Wellington County, Ontario where he m. a Jane Cook originally from Ireland, 1858 Erin. Their children were: James, John, Mary, Charters, Elizabeth, Jane (Jenny), Gertrude and Florence. One family member who moved with John was a Margaret Hamilton, relationship to John is unknown. On the 1858 marriage certificate for Ontario, neither John or Jane mention who their parents were. Any help would be greatly appreciated, sincerely Bess
