I am John Robertson, and am tracing the ancestry of my "Joseph Rainey Robertson, born in Scotland" who married a Susannah Johnson, 26 Nov, 1795 in Madison Co. KY Knowing how names changed spelling, and your line and the Hamilton name, I very curious. The reason I am curious is that when I had my Family Tree 37 marker DNA test, I find that I match Hamiltons 3:1 over Robertsons! Joseph's middle name of Rainey, your Hamiltons, makes it too much of a coincidence to skip asking you about the Raney name. Does any of the above ring a bell?
