    3. Hello Trisha, I have seen your emails so often on Hamilton and on others I believe the Monmouth Co. Genealogy Society. I belonged toThe Clan Hamilton at one time but gave up. For some reason I opened your email on surnames today. I found nothing to help me any. I have 5th great grandparents William Hamilton, wife Sarah uunknown. They were in Balt. Co., Md. They were born, probably , late 1600s. I do not know where. Robert Barnes, a noted genealogist, told me, quite some time ago, of a John Hamilton that died in Balt. Co. ca 1710. He said could have been the father of William as there weren't many Hamiltons there then. Their daughter, Rachel, m George Sater s/o Henry Sater and Doocas Towson. Their daughter Ruth m Nicholas Merryman They were my 3rd great of course. From there my family was W. Va., eastern Onio, western Pa., then N. J. So I can find no connection with your line but you are evidently well informed so I thought I would contact you in case you might have a clue. I have been thinking I may rejoin The Clan Hamilton anyway. My N. J. line, mainly, Chambers of Monmouth Co..
