He was married to Mary Emma McDermott (1836-1913). They had 7 children, one of which was Florence M. Hamilton (1875-1945) who married George Hobbs. They had 7 children, one of which was Mary C. Hobbs (1902-1979) who married Paul Griffin and they had 3 children. Ormon's parents were Talbot Hamilton (1809-1890) and Elizabeth Knight (1812-1895). I jused Familytree DNA. Lots of close markers, but no luck as yet. Since we can only trace our female line, and therefore surnames have little or no significance. -- Rhoda E.
