Is this the Catholic, Hamilton family married into the Hill family from Maryland, settling in Springfield, Washington Co., KY. If so there is a book written about them by a 'nun' and I can't remember her name at this point. She did a great job on many lines... but she certainly didn't on my husband's line. She left complete lines that are well documented with marriage bonds, deeds and many offspring. I am not at a computer that has my Family Tree Maker on it but if I can be of help when I get caught up from Christmas let me know....if it is the Hamilton-Hill line. Hamilton. I am not researching this sur name, but found the grave odd in the way that this Mr. Hamilton shares his head stone with an Elizabeth. The inscription for Elizabeth states she is the wife of Julius Bailey. Elizabeth was born in 1855, & Samuel was born in 1858. Sam died in April of 1886, & she dies two month's later in June of 1886. I believe he was born in 1947 to a Robert James Hamilton, Sr. and Melba Jean (unknown maiden name) in or around Minot, South Dakota. My mother's name is Deborah and my grandmother's name is Phyllis. Please, anyone with any information contact me as soon as possible. It is imperitive I at least get some medical history. I got a letter from him once when I was 15. He told me that I have 6 older sisters, however I have lost the letter and can't remember their names. As far as I know, last known residence was in California.
