Mar 8, 1832 and Earl Hamilton b. Apr 13, 1833. Sarah died 1845 in Meadville, Crawford Co., PA. Kinnard then married Charlotte Moore (b. 1826 in CT) in Trumbull, OH 1845 (apparently he didn't wait the proper mourning period or the dates are wrong) where their first daughter Emma was born in 1848. According to the 1850 Davenport, Scott County, IA Census, Earl is living with his father and new family. Also found that Earl married Emily (no surname/dates/place-yet). Happy Hunting....and stay in touch, please? Cuz' Betty

Do any of your Meadville Hamiltons have connections with the Hamiltons of Coshocton Co. Ohio? I have colateral Hamilton ancestors who lived in Meadville. My Grt Grandparents were John Hamlton and Mary Fair of Tyrone County, IRL who emigrated in 1843 to Keene then White Eyes Townships, Coshocton Co, Ohio. His brother, Claude had daughters who married and lived in Meadville. Any connections? My maternal grandmother, Emily Valletta Hamilton, was born in Indiana on March 24, 1854. Her parents, James Hamilton and Abigal (Abigail?) Hall were born in Ohio. My mother, Edna Maude Daniels was born in Iowa in 1883. Her parents were Emily Valletta Hamilton and Steven Henry Daniels who was born in Monroe County, PA on October 1, 1854. So it seems that the family was headed west (along with thousands of others). Family lore is that Emily came west in a wagon train -- and that makes identity difficult. Maybe Emily Left siblings, aunts, uncles, etc. in Ohio or Indiana as she traveled? -----Original Message----- From: Daryl Vogan [mailto:daryl_vogan@hotmail.com] Sent: Monday, May 20, 2002 10:55 AM To: HAMILTON-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [HAM] Earle Hamilton bn abt. 1830's Meadville, PA Are you from Meadville?
