My Hamiltons in Tyrone Co, Ireland were Alexander with children, Elizabeth, James, Thomas, and Alexander. Also, Thomas with children John, Claud, James, Elizabeth, Alexander, and Patrick. My ancestor was John Hamilton married to Mary Fair. They emigrated in 1843 with their 2 children, Margaret and Thomas. Also emigrating with them were his siblings Alexander married to Ann Beaty, and Elizabeth married to Robert Weir. All settled in OH. John remained in OH, Alexander and Ann moved on to Oregon, I would like to find out where Elizabeth and Robert moved on to. Would also like to find out if the Hamiltons of Augusta and Rockbridge Co. Va who arrived in the 1700s were related to my Hamltons since they all came from Tyrone Co, and were probably related in some way to the many Abercorn Hamiltons there. We know that the VA Hamiltons were of that line.
