I was told to search Beauford but so far I haven't found anything ,just don't have any thing for sure as to surety All I have is JT Hamilton and my Dad said he was called ( Toss) also know there was a brother but not sure of his name as I wasn't interested untill everyone with this knowledge was gone so I'm in the dark.I was also told that my jt was Joshua there again I'm not sure In the 1880 census he was listed as being 26years old and from SC, Thanks for any help that you can throw my way. I am researching my ancestor John Hamilton (born abt 1816 in Ireland) who married Mary Mason (born abt 1819 in Ireland) and had two children in Ireland William (b. 1840) and Elizabeth (b. 1847) before they migrated to the USA in 1847 and settled in Philadelphia, PA. They had three children in Philadelphia, Joseph (b. 1851), William (b. 1854), and Mary Jane (b. 1860). I am descended from Joseph. He is my great-grandfather.
