    3. Linda, I am sending you a link. I don't know if this is the Samuel HAMILTON you are looking for? I was going to send for this old newspaper obit for a Samuel Hamilton to see if he could possibly be related to my great-great aunt Sarah's husband, James HAMILTON. It was a Payne Co., OK newspaper obit and that's where my grandmother was born. Oh, there is no website listed on this page but if you will check GenForum, Payne Co., OK you will see Mahlon Erickson's postings and perhaps you could email him there or just use the land address on the website. Hope it's your Samuel......Good luck! http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Forest/7014/ObitsIndex1911.html Jerry Vernon ----- Original Message ----- From: <Ljs755@aol.com> To: <HAMILTON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: 16 October, 2002 15:58 Subject: [HAM] Re: HAMILTON in Georgia > My Hamilton in Georgia - Samuel Hamilton born 1840 Columbus, Muscogee Co. 3. I have tried to reply directly to you, but it keeps coming back. It tells me that you are not receiving messages from the sending. So, I sent this message to the Hamilton list so you could get it. *smile* I know it does; and what makes it harder is that my father is named after him. Major (born in July 1883, died 1957, buried in the Swafford Chapel Cemetery in Pikeville, TN) married Della HOGE. I have found the HOGE line on another website, and they have Major listed as Thomas HAMILTON. To this marriage were 13 children. I have more information on the children now, but if we can communicate off this list, I'll send it you to. Ralph Hoge HAMILTON Kenneth HAMILTON Tom Preston HAMILTON Maxi Lee HAMILTON Lucille HAMILTON Carlis HAMILTON Hollis HAMILTON Peggy HAMILTON Darwin HAMILTON Jenean (sp?) HAMILTON Richard HAMILTON Jewel HAMILTON Unknown HAMILTON My line is through Ralph. He was born on December 19, 1910, and died December 1974. He married Mable Zora BLAYLOCK. To this marriage were 4 children: Caroline HAMILTON, Charles Lee HAMILTON, Clara Evelyn HAMILTON, and Major Thomas HAMILTON. Macky doesn't ring a bell at this point in time. -- Victoria __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? They had a son named Walker B. Hamilton 1866-1917 and my grandmother Eleanor born 1873 and there was a brother Charles who went to Oaklahoma and sold herbal medicine. Grandma lived in Pittsburgh. Does this match up with anybody out there?
