    3. I am looking for ancestors/descendants of my 3d g-gf Alexander Hamilton [1812-1884] and Sarah (Hall) Hamilton who came from Ryefield, County Cavan, Ireland in 1832. They settled initially in Brooklyn, NYC and then at Cold Spring, Putnam County, NY Alexander was employed by the West Point Foundry. Alexander was the son of Francis "Frank" Hamilton and Mary Gibson. Sarah was the daughter of John Hall and Elizabeth ?. Also looking for correct identity of wife of their son Thomas Hall Hamilton. Vitals in Cold Spring record Thomas' wife as Sarah Haight who died about 1884. Newburgh, NY church records record wife as Sarah Hayt. The Hamilton Society however lists his wife as "Catherine". Interestingly my late grandmother gave me the name of Catherine Shinnick from Hell's Kitchen, NYC as her grandmother. Any information will be appreciated and thank you in advance. Vince Knapp
