    3. Did anyone else have a problem opening the messages about Audley Hamilton and Cunningham. I get the Digest list and could open the other messages in the list, but not the one I was particularly interested in re Audley. Could the person who posted it please post it again. Thanks. Helen

I think this man lived in Abbeville District SC. There is info on the net about this family. My Hamilton line came from Darlington District SC - Stephen Currie Hamilton m. Jennett Brown. He was born 1811 in Darlington. Looking for his parents. He too came to AL he brought his children to Macon Co. (near Tuskeegee). He is my great great great grandfather. Mae Ambrose

Alexander was a stone mason and married Ellen O'Brien in Kingston in 1839. Mary married Robert Lindsay, and Ellen remained unmarried. I just found Ellen in the 1861 Kingston census stating she was born in Armagh Ireland. WHOOPEE!!!! Now we have a location in Ireland after a 37 year search! There may be other siblings. Children's names include Robert, William, John, James, Ellen, Eliza, Josephine,Sarah,& George Anyone know this family. I just fond that Armagh has about 100,000 parishes-groan.     3. Hello everyone, Have been off list for awhile now gathering information and am hoping someone might be able to confirm something for me that I came across today. I am trying to connect my ANTHONY L HAMILTON, born about 1789, parents unknown. He married ELIZABETH WOODSIDE, of the Samuel Cunningham Woodsides.. He was born in CHESTER SC. Very possible that they migrated from NC or recently from Ireland. Anthony and Elizabeth followed the Woodside family up into Smithland Ky and then on into Illinois. They are listed as having only 2 sons--ANTHONLY STEWART born 1828, marrying Jane Brown Kimsey(first husband), and WOODS L, 1814 marrying NANCY JANE ARMSTRONG. I have the usual information that I've gleaned from Ancestry and LDS.. What I'm hoping for is that there is some Hamilton researcher out there that might be related thru the other Woodside kids or the descendants of Woods L..
