My great-great grandparents were Erick Halverson born Dec. 21, 1822 and Bertha born Aug. 11, 1827 ( do not know her maiden name). They came from Sweden to America around 1865 and settled in Boone, Iowa. They had 5 children, but the only names that I have so far are my great-grandfather Halver Halverson born April 17, 1861 in Sweden and Erick Halverson, Jr. born in Sweden (do not what year). I am trying very hard to find the history of the Halverson Family from Sweden! I am very interested in Swedish culture also. I would love to know where in Sweden my family, (Halverson) is from.
