I have a couple questions for you. Did your Halverson family settle in Canada when they came over? If so which Province? Was your grandfather George born in Canada? I do have a George Halverson in my family tree born 1865. His father immigrated to Canada in 1866 so it would seem he was born in Norway. My great grandfather settled in Quebec Canada when he first came over from Norway. My grandfather was the brother of George. If you see any connection let me know. Jim.
