His children were:- Isaac, Susanna (wife of John Gotwalls), and Mary (wife of Jacob Hallman). He was first a weaver by trade, later a miller. Isaac's wife was Barbara, daughter of Jacob Ziegler of Vincent Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, and a sister of Anna, wife of George Shoemaker, son of Michael (a). Isaac was born about, 1779, and Barbara about, 1784. They lived in Perklomen Township in, 1850, with their daughter, Mary, age 36. Next to them lived a son, Jacob Shoemaker, age 42; his wife, Maryann, and four children:- Isaac, Charles, Charlotte, and Maryann. Nearby also lived another son, George, age 45, a miller, with his wife, Eliza, and three children:- Barbarann, Henry, and Elizabeth.
