Do you have a birth date for Sophia or an indication in your records of who she married so that we can see if it is the same one? Do you know if Joseph Hallman and Margaret Fry lived in that same area, around Montgomery County? This would be really exciting if it is the same person, thanks! I do not have any Reiff surnames in my direct line that I have found so far, however, the Reiff surname is quite prevalent among the Gottshalks. If you have not seen this document, you will find quite a few Reiffs in it: http://www.nayzak.com/~jgott/family/gott1924.txt . I don't see any Hallmans but maybe there is some other surname which connects the two. Karen
