I would like you to find the Husband of my Grand-aunt Myra Donnelly Hallman, her husband's name listed on the death certificate is Billy Hallman. Myra died in Philadelphia in January 1929. She was an actress and she also ran a boarding house on Vine Street. My mother and her surviving siblings know little of their aunt, their father did not approve of his sister decision to become an actress and leave town when her mother died in 1909. Myra had cousins in Philadelphia , the Howletts and they remember seeing Myra from time to time. What is unknown is whether Billy Hallman was involved in show business or was in some other line of work. In fact, it was only suspected that she had married, it wasn't confirmed until I got a copy of her death certificate last year that we knew it was Billy Hallman that she had married. What little is known, is that she was in silent films & she may also been in Vaudeville. We hope there are Hallmans out in the greater Philadelphia area who had a father or an uncle named Billy Hallman who was involved with Myra Donnelly in the 1920's. We are desparate for info on Myra like a photo(thecousins always said she was strikingly beautiful with red curly hair) her life, when Billy and Myra got married, did they try to have children and a ton of other questions. As much as her brother was ashamed of her life as an actress, he asked that her body be returned to her birthplace, Bridgeport, CT, when she died in 1929 at the age of 45. Ed Hagerty
