But this one came to members of our local computer club from our President, Richard, who is also an instructor at our Verde Valley College. So I know it must be an authentic virus! He said it infected his computer software. Faith Hutchings Your List Hostess If you get an e-mail with the attachement "happy.exe" or "happy99.exe" DO NOT - DO NOT try this attachement. This program will modify critical files in you e-mail programs and attach itself to every outgoing e-mail you sent. The latest versions of McAfee and Norton do not detect this file as a virus. However, you will damage your system software if you open it. I am not reloading all of my software after reformating the Hard Drive to get rid of the problems it caused. Luckely, I had back-ups of all my data and the original disks to replace programs. However, I have been at the reload for 8 Hours and still have another 8 hours to go.
