Hello, Hallmans, We have 37 subscribers now! We would have had 40 but lost 3. Some of the lists I am on have posted the migration patterns for their families. I think it would be interesting to find out where your ancestors first settled when they came to this country (including Canada), or start with where they came from in Europe--then to this country. Where did they move from there? One of the lists I am on has a historian who has posted the migration routes used by most ancestors who left Pennsylvania for different parts of the country. It's been extremely interesting! The Hallmans on our list seem to be dispersed throughout the country. Why not tell us why your ancestors moved from one state to another, or from U. S. to Canada, then maybe back to the U.S., etc. Why did your ancestors settled where you were born? I'll give my input in a separate message. How about you all?
