Unfortunately, I have not yet confirmed just which Hallman family my Gx2 Grandmother, Hannah Hallman (Aug 2, 1828-Sep 8 1903) belonged to. She probably lived her entire life in Limerick Twp., Montgomery County, PA. Her husband was Mahlon Barlow (Nov.10,1822-Aug 20,1863); they were married on June 1, 1848 in Limerick Twp. Their children (not in order, sorry) were as follows (believe me, this only touches the edges!): 1. John Franklin Barlow, May 1, 1849-d.1910. He married Mary M. Clemens, d.o. Jacob Clemens and Margaret <lnu> in 1870. 2. Lydia Barlow. d.aft.1930 in Norristown, PA. Married Harry Keeley. 3. Abraham Barlow. 4. Elizabeth Barlow. Called "Lizzie" married <fnu> Boyer. Lived in Pottstown, PA. 5. Mahlon Barlow. d.bef.1930 6. Al (probably Alfred?) Barlow. 7. Owen Evans Barlow (Aug 8, 1852-June 11, 1894. Married Lydia Ann Fox on October 31, 1875 in Limerick Twp. 8. Anna Barlow, b.Nov 22, 1858. Married Henry Reuther. John Franklin Barlow and Mary M. Clemens moved to Blackhawk County, Iowa after 1872. They had the following children: 1. George Ralston Barlow (Apr.1, 1871-Oct.29, 1933.) b. in Royersford, PA. d. Oct.29, 1933. Married (1) Nettie Bucher; (2) Maude Myrtle Little. 2. Addie Barlow (1872-1942). Married Frederick Dunkerton. 3. Jacob Barlow, b.1876 in Dunkerton, Blackhawk County, IA. Ran away as a young man; never heard from again by family. 4. Frank Barlow b.1882, Dunkerton, Blackhawk County, IA. Married Susan Duffy. 5. John Barlow, b.,July 18, 1888, Dunkerton, Blackhawk County, IA. d. Dec.6, 1979 in Waterloo, Iowa. Married Mabel <lnu> A number of descendants of John Franklin Barlow still live in Dunkerton and Jesup, Iowa; others have moved to Arizona, California, Washington state, Texas and in at least one case even back to Philadelphia. His currently oldest living descendant is probably my mother, Mary Elizabeth Barlow Spunaugle of Tucson, Arizona. She is nearly 91. So what we really have for Hannah's descendants is some staying in Pennsylvania, one son moving to Iowa, and then a general diaspora...
