    1. Henry Hallman
    2. On a message board where I had posted an inquiry, a gentleman recently posted in response. My message: "Looking for the parents of Henry S Hallman, born 1819 in Evansburg, Montgomery Co, PA; lived in central PA in Dansville. Died 1899. He married Mary Ann Heddins." This was his reply to mine: "I'll check with my mother. She's a Hallman - a direct descendant of Antonius Heilman, who settled in Skippack/Evansburg in 1718/19. There is a Henry Hallman in her family tree, but he was born in 1785. He could have had a son named Henry (my mother's great grandfather was Lewis Hallman, born in 1816). Perhaps your Henry was a brother to Lewis. I'll see what I can learn." and, his more general post-- "I am also a descendant of Antonius Heilman and have some names and other info that might be of use. He was born in Kleinniedesheim, Germany, in 1671 and came to Skippack in 1718/19 with his wife, Mary Salome. I visited Kleinniedesheim a couple years ago - a very quaint farming village in vineyard country just south of Worms. The family tree from him to my mother is Johanne, b. 7-16-1711; John, b. 11-12-1747; Henry, b. 11-16-1785; Lewis, b. 1-29-1816; Dallas, b. 1-12-1849; and Alphonso, b. 10-17-1876. My mother, Laura Hallman Henry, was his daughter; he had no sons. If anyone can expand this family tree sideways, please do so." I have written to him, but no feedback yet. I asked if he was aware of the Hallman list. Has anyone seen data on this family of Henry b 1785? Edie
