To all the Hallmans: My name is Debi Biffert...born and raised in Columbia, SC....but now live in North Dakota....we used to farm and milk dairy cows....but the estate has now been split between 9 siblings...I work in a nursing home and am also a freelance writer....I have being doing research for 3 years and have traced back to the early 1700's on the Rish side of my family....I have been looking for a Mary Elizabeth Hallman/Holman Black who married Adam Rish...my info says she was born in 1758 and died in 1810....she and Adam were my 5th g-grandparents....as far as I know they were farmers....I believe Adam was born in Palitinate, Germany....I have no knowledge of any children....They lived in the Saxe Gotha area of Lexington County, SC....I am trying to find out who her parents were and who she married first... I have 5 children, ages 25, 14, 12 and 7....my husband works for a company that makes the Richardton Dump Wagon...farmers will know what that is....I have really enjoyed all of the emails and info coming across about teh Hallmans....but none have led me to Mary Elizabeth...if any have any info...I sure would appreciate it....Thansk again....keep the info adn emails coming....glad to know u all....
