In a message dated 1/8/99 4:21:08 PM Eastern Standard Time, HALLMAN-D- request@rootsweb.com writes: << My most-wanted Hallman ancestors are the parents of my Gx2 Grandmother, Hannah Hallman, who married Mahlon Barlow in Montgomery County, PA, on June 1, 1848. Hannah was born on August 2, 1828, and died on September 8, 1903. I believe that she lived her entire life in Limerick Twp., Montgomery County. >> Elaine, With the limited area of Limerick Twp, have you read the actual census rolls for 1830, 1840, and 1850, to determine how many/which HALLMAN households were in residence? Also, Hannah is mentioned in the DAR books, in the lineage of her mother's EVANS family. I'm wondering if connection with EVANs researchers might turn up someone with names of Hannah's parents in their notes?? She may look like an orphan--sound like an orphan--but I bet she was not an orphan! Edie
