    1. Re: [HALLIGAN] The cousin in E. Barres' name was...
    2. I moved last week end and most everything is still packed but here is what Elrick told me... his mother and my grandmother were half sisters. I am going to go to the cemetary later this am and get the info off from the stones and email it to you. Do you live in Canada or the states? Anywhere near Vt? Perhaps you can help me put names to a vague memory that I have from childhood. I was born in 1953 and when I was about 7 or 8 (?) we had several people visit that I had never seen before nor did I ever see them again. I think that my dad called the 2 ladies his aunts. One or both were nuns. I do not remember anything about the others that came. I was just very impressed with these women because a) they were very kind and attentive to me and b) they seemed so very old and fragile to me. I hope that I have the facts straight. In fact one nun left me a little money when she died and it is still in a bank in Canada. I have to find it now. My parents told me about the money. Would you know anything about these women? Do I have many relatives in St. Malachie? Mary

    3. I am not sure.... My great aunt Maggie (Margaret Humphrey) had a daughter I believe that was a nun and 20 years ago she was not a nun, but as I said was one. Aunt Maggie lived to be a 100 years old and spent her life in St. Malachie. She maried a Humphrey in and around St. Malachie. She was the Godmother to my mother when she was baptized in St. Malachie.
