Hi Jim, Just got home! Ran and checked my email right away!! Each piece of information is like opening a gift. I am so happy to have found a common denominator in this search. (Bet you've never been called that before!) LOL. I went to the grave yard and walked it completely in case there were any relatives there that I had not been aware of before. Yes, I found 2. Patrick and Catherines' oldest daughter Mary Catherine Halligan Ambrose - 1891-1961 - with her daughter Cecilia - 1915-1996 - buried at her feet. Then, a little further on I found Marquerite Halligan Brown (aunt Peg) - 1905-1975- and her husband William 1907-1986. He was a boston attorney. I know that this is probably all fluff as you really are looking for info. directly for Patrick but it will help fill in a family tree if needed. It seems that my grandfather is close to impossible to find info on. It is almost exclusively through his children that we find evidence of his existence. Do you live close to Vt? I live about 8 miles away from Elrick Tacys' home up on the mountain. I think that the elderly ladies may have been Patricks sisters. ?????!!! Do you know if Patrick was married twice? I ask because my grandmother and Elricks mother Ella were half sisters. I also copied down the dates on the Tacy stone Charles 1878-1945 Ella Halligan 1889-1981 (much younger than Charles!) a young son Dalton died as a child 1912-1921. Elrick told me the cause of death but I foolishly did not write it down. I think that Patrick and his family spent some time in NH as my father was born in that state and he was born in the late 1800s. My dad was Lemuel Thomas Halligan. Again so sorry if I have carried on excessively. I will try to stay more focused on Patrick in the future. Mary
