Hi Adriana, I would like to know more about your HALLIGAN family. I too have a HALLIGAN in my line, she is Elizabeth Ann HALLIGAN born Jan. 1843 & the first census I find her on is the 1880 born in WV or VA age 38 already married about 1868 to William KIEL. Her death cert. states father Wm. HALLIGAN & mother Mary KAVANAUGH both born Ireland. Since VA or WV is so close to PA I thought there may be a connection. I checked 1840 & 1850 VA census with no luck finding the family.
