I have a great grandfather who was born in England to Irish parents working for passage to USA. William Halligan (b.12-13-1857,d.3-18-1918) He married a Margaret CAREY (b.6-15-1860,d.7-15-1913) and both lived and raised a family and are buried in Pittsburgh, Pa. His son John Edward Halligan married Mary Connolly. Then his son Lawrence James Halligan (my father) married Doris Taylor. I saw you have the name Cary in your note. Any connection? Let me know.
