Does anyone know if this the same Hugh DUNCAN that married Margaret HALLIGAN about 1882?

My grandfather was Harold Halligan from around Liverpool (I think). He was born about 1882 and died in New-Zealand in 1948. He may have had a cousin George, a sister Rose and a brother John or Jack. My father Harold, also deceased, was in England on active service in WW2 and looked up John (I think he refered to him as uncle Jack). I don't have much history on grandfather Harold. He left Liverpool to bring a load of sheep to New-Zealand for a wealthy land-owner and he stayed on and married. He arrived sometime prior to 1920 ... could have been before WW1. Hoping you can throw me in the right direction regards Steve Stephen James Halligan
