I am looking for the above mentioned. I have found he and his wife in 1850, 1870 and 1880 census records as follows: 1850 Federal Census, Rutherford County, Tennessee Isaac Hall 31 POB Tennessee Margaret Hall 30 " Louansa 10 " Martha 8 " Have not been able to find them in 1860 Census, but suspect they were in North Carolina because of the following: 1870 Rutherford County, Tennessee Census Isaac Hall 53 M Tennessee Margaret Hall 54 F " Eufronia Hall 11 F North Carolina ?vil Hall 8 M North Carolina The name of the last Hall child(?) here I was unable to read from the census records. The last three letters of the name are just what I think was written. (The last two children(? - grandchildren?) were born in North Carolina, but haven't been able to find them) 1880 Rutherford County, Tennessee Census Isaac Hall 63 TN NC NC Margaret Hall 64 TN NC TN Thomas Hall 21 TN TN TN farm labor Isaac Hall married Margaret MUNDAY 20 Nov 1839 in Rutherford County, Tennessee (found marriage record on Rutherford County web site). Does anyone have any idea as to what family Isaac Hall might belong to? His birth year is estimated from the census records, so I am not entirely sure of his exact birth year, but figure it is somewhere around 1819. From the last two census records, I believe that Margaret might be a year older than Isaac, but again, this is all just estimated from the census records. Would appreciate any help at all in finding Isaac's family - parents, siblings, maybe even other information on some of the children. Isaac would be my 4th great-grandfather. I am descended through his daughter Louansa who married a Hunt. Thanks again for any help any one can supply.
