Thomas Hall (14 Jan 1809 - 22 Feb 1899) was born in North Carolina, some say Halifax Co., and married Laurana (Lurana, Laurena, etc.) Holman about 1836, probably in Tennessee. Thomas named his first born son Pleasant Hall, so it is assumed that his father was also named Pleasant. One source has a family tale of Thomas Hall and his bride traveling to Carroll Co., Arkansas by ox cart. Does anyone know where in Tennessee Thomas may have come from?

In the book Carroll County Families, they were the first has Thomas living near Chattanooga,TN before movingto War Eagle Madison County Arkansas. He built the 4th house in the Prairie TWP, Arkansas. Came to Arkansas with wife's family via ox cart (Madison County Musings- Fall 1993) Thomas and Lourenia were my ggggrandparents. does anyone have any more information on this couple?
