His grandmother was Virginia Clay Hall, daughter of Missouri Barnett Hall. I can give you only a little bit of information. It appears that he died in Collin County around 1906, about the time that Virginia married. John's widow then must have moved back to Alabama with her children and William David Hall is in the 1910 census in Collin County as a laborer. May have some other information.
