He married Margaret ???? about 1823-25 maybe in TN. They Have two daughters born betweeen 1825 and 1830. Malona HALL, born Dec 1826 in TN, is the guardian of my Great grandmother, Rutha SMITH. Ruth Susana Smith, born 30 Apr 1849 in TN or TX, and Elijah Thomas WILSON, born 3 Feb 1839 in Noxubee County, AL; are my Ggrandparents. They were married in 1867 in Lavaca County, TX I am searching for Malona's sister(Rutha's mother). I don't know her name but because Malona was named as Rutha's guardian in the Lavaca County, TX Court of Estates, I believe Rutha's mother(Malona's sister) was the wife of "John SMITH, and wife, deceased of MS". Rutha may have had a sister named Mary and a brother named Wiliam, according to my Uncle Clarence HARDNOCK. On the 1830 and 1840 Greene County, AL census' 1850 Neshoba County census and 1861 lavaca County census' the HALL's, WILSON's, THOMAS', MAHAN's, And SMITH's appear living near one another and intermarrying. The three things that would help me are: Margaret Hall's family name Berriman and Margaret's marriage place and date The name of their otherdaughter listed on the 1830 and 1840 Greene County, AL census.
