Indeed, the first member of the HALL family for which I have information was Everhard HALL, a veteran of the Revolutionary War who settled in what was later to become Gasconade County, Missouri in 1801. Everhard HALL registered in Gasconade County in 1821 as one of its first lawyers where he practiced in a court presided over by Nathaniel BOONE, son of the now famous Daniel BOONE, the frontiersman of Kentucky fame. Cemetery records show that a Drury Hall was the father of Susannah HALL born 1799 in South Carolina. His son was also Drury HALL, born abt. 1800 in Kentucky. It appears that Drury and Susanna were siblings and their father was Drury or Everhard. Susannah HALL married Michael ROARK before 1820 in Missouri. Their daughter Julia Ann ROARK married John Martin McMANNESS the 26 June 1851 at Boeuff Township, Franklin County Missouri. This HALL family was in South Carolina before 1800 and then moves to Kentucky about 1800 and then moves to Missouri in 1801. This HALL family may be of German heritage. I would like to learn more about this HALL family. Any information may provide a clue or be helpful. Can anyone provide any insight? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.
