My gr gr grandfather came into Hamilton County Illinois about 1840. He was born in IL in 1817/1818. His sister, name unknown, came with him. From north of Hamilton County. If you would like to correspond, I would be glad to share any information I have. My mother told me my gr grandfather, George Mathias Hall, was sent North for his high school education, perhaps to Springfield. I am sure my Halls are up there but cannot make the connection.
