Hall. I believe he arrived in either Charlestown or Boston, Massachusetts around 1819-1820 and married a Mary Griffin, who was born in New Hampshire. His son, also named David W. Hall, was born in Charlestown on June 13, 1827, and I think there was also a daughter. In the 1840 US Census, Catherine Hall, listed as a head of household with 2 young sons, appeared right below my g-g-grandfather's family. The only other clue I have comes from his grandson, who was also named....you guessed it....David W. Hall. His baptismal record gives his name as Davidicum Wiri(? maybe Will, very hard to read) Johnum Hall. Any info or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
