So I searched that specific database for Carl Warren Hall, which told me his birth was in Kansas. Then I could go to the census to look for a Carl Hall, b. Kansas, 1886 /- 2 years. That found me the Carl Hall on the 1920 census. Also, knowing he was from KS, I clicked on KS from the search page, and searched for Carl Hall on all the KS databases. That pulled up the Army registration hit. I'm not related, but I have a cousin Carl Hall who was born in California. I did do a lot of searching for Carl, his wife, daughter and mother on both the 1900 and 1930 census and drew a blank. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
