Denise, Forgive me... I didn't read through your whole message ( I will later) what caught my attention is your mention of Sarah's sister as Matilda Morton. Is Morton their maiden name? My Hall's are in Jefferson Co., Indiana, just on the other side of the Ohio river at the bridge to Louisville, Ky. Our Hall family crosses with the Morton family in Indiana. You might try the Jefferson County Historical society in Madison Indiana. They have a copy of a book written by two of my mother in laws distant cousins which detail the McNeal family the Morton's married into this line. Our Morton's are in Hanover and Madison again a stone throw away from Kentucky and several of our family branches lived on either side of the Ohio. I have to run out here and will be going for a few hours but when I get back I will go back and check my Hall file. J.P. doesn't ring a bell but you never know.
