In Nov 1760 and again in April 1761 an Edward Hall petitioned the Town to take custody of and support a child he had with Betty or Betsey Triffle (Triphel) a foreigner. While there were a number of Acadian exiles in Uxbridge at that time non of the family names match. Who was she and what became of the child?
