Mar 1776 or 1778, but we are not sure where in Kentucky. He married Penelope Strickland, b. and moved to IL about 1830 and settled in Blue Mound, Macon County, IL, where he is buried in the Hall Cemetery. I would like to find out more about his family of Halls, if his father is Amos Hall, and where he came from, and Garland's mother's name and family, if known.
